Otjiwarongo - Great place to stop off on any journey through Namibia.
The town has all the conveniences travellers will need including a range

here with a good supply of ATMs. The town is served by 4 petrol / gas
stations. Nearby lodges offer the chance to get up close and personal
with many of
Namibia's wild animals including the Cheetah & Leopard.

Luxury and conservation. If you like Leopards
and Cheetahs then look no further. Okonjima is expensive compared
to the other lodges but this place is just fantastic. Really seeing
is believing with your own private rooms located in the bush.

This is a most beautiful lodge located about an hour or so
South of Otjiwarongo. Great accomodation, featuring your own
jacuzzi, fine food (served buffet style) and one of the best
game drives in Namibia (morning and afternoon). If you prefer
just relaxing then spen your time in the garden watching the
African wildlife over the lake - Birds, antelope, Hippo! Also
Lion feeding at night after a wonderful meal served around a
camp fire under the stars. A little more expensive but as you

Located just 40km outside the town Yakandonga is a perfect stop over. The peace and tranquility of the African bush is priceless. Yakandonga consists of just a few beautifully designed thatched bungalows offering superb self catering accomodation. Bungalows are en-suite and include a small kitchen and Braai (BBQ) facilities outside. The main Lodge offers breakfast and evening meals most nights, for those who do not wish to eat under the stars. Home cooking at its best with a good variety of wines to choose from. Yakandonga offers walking trails, game drives and has a beautiful swimming pool.
