Luderitz

We have deliberately limited the choice of accomodation in each town. Our aim is to provide you with a choice of fine lodges that we have personally visited / inspected - We are sure you will find accomodation to suit your taste and budget and can be confident that these lodges are among the very best of their kind in Namibia.

Fascinating hazy fishing village on a remote part of the Atlantic coast built on the edge of Namibia's "Diamond Area" to the South of the country. Luderitz has been modernised and developed in recent years and has much to offer the intrepid traveller. The ghost town of Kolmanskop stands as a reminder of bygone years and fights a losing battle against the sands of time. The town has a number of good Hotels and guesthouses as well as cafes and restaurants. All conveniences are found here as well as a number of trips to nearby Penguin island and Diaz point. Barren but beautiful, Luderitz offers peace and solitude to a weary traveller.
